Website rebuild: a modern site you can change yourself

Your website looks dated, loads slowly on phones, or every small text change means writing to someone and waiting. A rebuild fixes the site and the dependency at the same time: we build a modern, fast website on a simple foundation — and you get the skills to update and extend it yourself with AI. On the Solo plan it is one fixed price, $450, whatever the size of the site.

Signs it is time for a rebuild

  • It looks older than your competitors' sites — and visitors notice.
  • It is slow, especially on phones, or parts of it break on small screens.
  • Changing a sentence means a developer, an agency, or a maze of plugins and page-builder settings.
  • Plugin or theme updates regularly break something.
  • It does not bring enquiries, and you cannot tell why.
  • You are not sure who still has access to it, or where it is hosted.

Redesign or rebuild?

  1. A redesign is enough if

the site works well, you can already update it yourself, and all you need is a fresher look on the same foundation.

  2. A rebuild is the better choice if

the foundation is the problem — it is slow, fragile, locked into a platform or impossible to edit without help. A new look on the same foundation would leave all of that in place.

We look at your site first and tell you honestly which one you need. Most of the sites that come to us need a rebuild, because the real problem is not how they look but that nobody can change them.

What stays the same

  • Your domain name — the address customers already know.
  • Your content: texts, images, products, articles. We move what you have; what changes is agreed with you first.
  • Your search rankings: we keep existing page addresses where we can and redirect the ones that change, so Google and your visitors are sent to the right place.
  • Your email: moving the website does not move your mailboxes.

What you get

  • A modern, fast website designed for phones first.
  • A simple foundation that AI works with easily — no fragile plugin stack.
  • The search engine basics in place: page titles, descriptions, a sitemap.
  • Contact forms and the integrations your business uses.
  • Hosting, domain and code in accounts registered to you.
  • Personal training, so you — or up to 15 people on your team, on the Team plan — update and extend the site yourselves with Claude Code.
  • Bonus: an AI automation plan for the rest of your business.

How it works

  1. Analysis

We study your current site, your business and what the site should be doing for it.

  2. Concept

We agree with you on the structure, the look and what changes — before anything is built.

  3. Build and move

We build the new site, move your content and switch your domain over with redirects in place.

  4. Training

About three one-hour one-on-one sessions on your own site (Solo), or training for up to 15 people (Team), until you are comfortable updating and extending it yourselves.

A Solo project usually takes two to four weeks.

From any platform

WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Tilda, Webflow, a site builder from your hosting provider, or custom code someone wrote years ago — the starting point does not matter. What matters is what your business needs the site to do, and that you can change it yourself afterwards. For the most common moves, there is a guide of its own:

Price

$450 on the Solo plan, fixed, whatever the size of the site — a one-page site and a large catalogue cost the same. If several people — say, marketing and sales — will update the site, the Team plan trains up to 15 of them for $1,900. Paid upfront, with a 100% refund if you are not satisfied. Hosting and the domain name are paid by you directly, in your own name.

Frequently asked questions

Will I lose my Google rankings?

A rebuild done carelessly can cost rankings, which is why we keep existing page addresses where possible and redirect the ones that change. Search engines follow redirects, so the value your pages have built up is carried over.

Can I keep my domain and email?

Yes. Your domain stays yours, and your email stays where it is — moving the website only changes where the website itself is served from.

Do I need to write new content?

No. We move the content you have. If some of it should change, we agree on that during the concept stage.

Why not just use a website builder?

Builders are a good start, but you rent the platform: its limits, its prices and its rules. A rebuilt site is yours, has no builder limits, and with AI it is just as easy to change.

How much does it cost and how long does it take?

$450 on the Solo plan, fixed, whatever the size of the site, or $1,900 on the Team plan if up to 15 people will update it. Solo usually takes two to four weeks, with a 100% refund on request.
